April 28-30, 2022
Regent Petite France Hotel and Spa
At the end of April 2022, a spring conference will be held in the lovely French city of Strasbourg. While Strasbourg is the capitol of the Grande Est region of France, and is the official seat of the European Parliament, it is a quaint and charming town, especially in the Petite France section of the city. With its colorful and unique timber architecture, its setting on various smaller canals, and its pedestrian friendly streets, it is the perfect spring venue for a southeastern France visit. The climate this time of year is fantastic, and the festive adornment with spring flowers of houses, restaurants and shops makes this a perfect place to absorb French culture, And of course, French food and French wine. The entire city center has been deemed a World Heritage site. And that is right where our meeting will be held!
Our host hotel is the Regent Petite France Hotel and Spa, strategically situated on an island in the middle of one of the largest canals in the town. While in the thick of things in the heart of the city, the hotel offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, affording you the opportunity to kick back and relax with a fine meal at the wonderful canal side restaurant. And then, when you want to get back in to sightseeing, you’re right in the middle of things. Strolling the quaint streets, shopping, stopping in a small bistro and sightseeing are at your finger tips. Here is a link to the hotel to get a flavor of this gem of a location: https://www.regent-petite-france.com/
Our meeting will start with an evening champagne welcome reception open to meeting attendees and their travel mates on April 28, 2022, at 6PM overlooking the canals and backdrop of the heart of the town. Continuing education will begin promptly at 6:30AM the following two mornings, April 29 and 30, 2022. We will finish our CE by noon, so that you’ll have the remainder of the day to sightsee in this quaint, romantic town. 12 hours of COPE approved CE is offered at this venue. The CE is presented by clinicians with expertise in their respective fields and is clinically valuable and useful.
We have secured reduced rates for your stay from the standard rack rates published online. In order to reserve your room, please email the Elizabelle Weber at the hotel at this email address: firstname.lastname@example.org Be sure to tell her you are with my group to get the preferred rate.
Given the location, time of the meeting, and the weather in this area of France this time of year, this meeting will fill up, as will the hotel. I would strongly suggest to register for the meeting and make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. While there are plenty of nearby hotels, being at the conference center at 630 in the morning can be a bit of a chore if you’re not close!
